Stories
Along with "A View From You," I have two other finished stories and several in progress:

"You have to Get All of Your Toes In" is a story about a raccoon and his sidekick, a blue footed booby, who give a lecture about shoes and socks and the perils of putting them on.

"Calico Kittens" is a story about a quilt whose triangles decide to get up and recreate themselves after their owner leaves for college.

"Six Small Rabbits" is about six rabbits growing to giant size and exploring the universe.

"The Best Secret Ever" is a Halloween Story. In it, two children have a magical experience while trick-or-treating on Halloween.

Another story about Phyllida, one of my dear cats, is about how to and how not to care for a pet cat. It is still in the development stage.

I have been actively searching on and off for an agent and/or publisher for my stories and my art. If anyone is interested I can be contacted by .

"A View From You" was a story in a letter that I wrote many years ago for my sweetheart when he went away to college. It was about seeing things from his viewpoint and sharing a viewpoint. Over the years, after marrying him, having two children and working in their preschool, I decided to shape this very personal letter into a picture book for young people. Then, after 9/11, I decided to once again redraw this story. I chose to use many faces instead of the original you and I. This poem is about all of us. We need to walk a while in each other's shoes.

This is a picture book you can share with your preschooler, one that beginning readers can handle, but also one that has a message for more experienced readers about trying to understand each other. I hope you will enjoy it.
